Surrender

If I relax every muscle, every knot, every tension in my body what would hold me together? 

Would my skin slide off my bones and shrink to child size? 

Would my muscles forget how to hold on? 

Would my jaw fall to the floor with a thud? 

Would my mind tremble with relief and turn to Stardust? 

Would my heart liquefy and fill my chest cavity with all the warmth I have ever sought? 

Would I cease? 

Can I surrender to a life of softness, fully absorbed by the universe?
